Not all stage curtains are made the same way, you konw. most are still make like they were 100 years ago. LuXout curtains are designed with unique features to eliminate problem areas and to provide curtains that start out looking beautiful and retain that look for years of service. Unique features such as:

TRIPLE UNTEARABLE TOP HEM: Most "traditional" stage curtains have one piece of burlap sewed to the back of the curtain, so the curtain is supported by one layer of burlap and the curtain material. LuXout has one layer of virtually untearable 18.5 oz flame resistant Herculite 80® vinyl-coated polyester, and then one layer of waterproof plasticized 10-oz. buckram, and then a third layer of curtain fabric. Because pleats are made by grommets, the LuXout curtain is supported by SIX LAYERS of material and TWO brass grommets. Quite a difference in strength!

ROUND PLEATS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM: "Traditional" curtains have a boxy pleat sewed flat onto a piece of burlap. LuXout curtains arrive from our sewing room flat, with special packaging for fewer wrinkles, and pleats are made on-site by putting an S-hook through 2 grommets. Same size pleats, same fullness, but round from top to bottom. Quite a differnce in appearance!

NO CHAIN IN BOTTOM HEM: Most "traditional" curtains have a chain inside a cloth pocket sewed into the bottom hem, to provide weight. Chains don't stack or pleat neatly because they want to stay straight, and they wrinkle the bottom hem, and they rust and corrode the fabric and eventually may wear through the cloth, drop out, and drag on the floor. Not LuXout. Our bottom hems have individual galvanized metallic weights, each inside an individual electronically welded pocket in a continuous strip inside the bottom hem - no rusting - no corroding - no wrinkles - no problem in stacking - no flattening out of the pleat - and no wearing through the hem. Quite a difference in design!

TRACK: Cord-operated, walk-draw, or electrically operated, straight or curved, chain-suspended or ceiling mounted - whatever the need for stage hardware, your LuXout ealer can furnish it, with or without curtains. And can install it.

STAGE CURTAIN ACCESSORIES: Different styles of chenille/felt letters for the valance, in a range of colors, and 6" bullion fringe in colors, to accent valances. Custom emblems or logos or lettreing styles can be ordered. All letters and emblems are removable for re-use. Wrap-around curtain covers of 18-oz Herculite 80® material protect curtains from damage or wear.

FABRICS: LuXout has all the materials for stage curtains: cotton velour, inherently flame resistant polyester velour, cotton repp, polyester repp, plain or vinyl backed inherently flame resistant fabrics, scrim, muslin, leno, duvetyne - whatever is needed. And everything passes NFPA 701 flame testing.

Studio Curtains: Flat unpleated or grommet-pleated curtains in any size, made of ChromaKey blue, red, green or any stage curtain fabric. All made using the unique LuXout grommet pleating style that features less stack space and allows a Quick Change option: flat pleatless curtains, or 6" pleats on 6" centers, or 6" pleats on 12" centers - different looks from the same curtain! Complete track systems for single or double runs are available.

Auditorium windows can be made of the same material as the front curtain, either double-fold pinch pleated or with the same heavy-duty grommet pleating as the stage curtain. Round top or arched valances are no problem. Your LuXout dealer can furnish heavy-duty tracks, cord-drawn or electrically operated, and can install them.

WE RECOMMEND LINING for velour window draperies, using a special RocLon® white acrylic backed blackout lining that reflects sun heat and protects the fabric from sun rot and moisture.

ACOUSTICAL DRAPERIES of velour are excellent for control of reverberation and reduction of unwanted noise, especially for music suites.

DOUBLE FACED CURTAINS are a good choice for room division curtains.
